Job Summary
Conduct pre-show setup, lobby readiness checks, and crowd management during performances and events. Welcome guests, scan tickets, provide information on productions and accessibility services, and assist patrons with wayfinding and Assisted Listening Devices. Monitor cleanliness and safety in public areas, support usher coordination, and handle lobby resets and lost items. Respond to guest inquiries, escalate issues as needed, and execute evacuation procedures prioritizing guest safety. Work part-time, averaging 12 to 20 hours weekly during performance weeks.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, theatre operations, or event management preferred
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in accordance with performance schedules
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state and/or Federal laws
- Able to regularly ascend/descend stairs
- This position lifts and moves materials and supplies up to 15 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for up to 2 hours at a time
- Job requires use of close vision
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of ADA accessibility, emergency procedures, and audience safety protocols is a plus
