Job Summary
Support clients with daily activities, administer medication, and prepare nutritious meals while maintaining a visible, safe presence throughout the facility. Coordinate administrative tasks, monitor client activity, and assist with intake and discharge processes. Perform light maintenance, cleaning of indoor and outdoor grounds, and ensure all kitchen areas remain clean and safe. Circulate through the building to address safety hazards and provide emotional support as a positive role model. Work evenings from 11pm to 7am, Fridays and every other weekend, up to 16 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age per licensure requirements pertaining to residential facilities
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to utilize and navigate computers, laptops, and/or tablets, to complete daily documentation or communication through email, an Electronic Medical Records System, or other company used programs
- Ability to pass med sign off
- Current Servsafe Certification, training opportunity with ability to obtain
Desired Qualifications
- Trained Medication Aide certification through the State of Minnesota in good standing
- Current American Heart Association BLS Card, training offered on-site
- Previous housekeeping and maintenance experience
- Previous cook experience
- Experience working with chemical dependency and mental health disorders
