Job Summary
Hourly teaching position focused on elementary education with Yoga/Wellness specialty. Responsibilities include developing and administering curriculum aligned with district goals, creating lesson plans and instructional materials, delivering individualized and small group instruction (including students with special needs), administering and interpreting assessments, promoting student citizenship and safe classroom environment, engaging parents, maintaining records and reporting, coordinating with staff, and supervising activities outside the classroom. Skills emphasized include knowledge of current teaching methods and pedagogy, elementary curriculum, data systems and analysis, federal/state education laws, effective communication with students and parents, organization, collaboration, and ongoing professional development.
