Job Summary
Conduct high-level customer service by receiving and recording reservations, assigning tables, and greeting guests at the entrance. Maintain menu knowledge, escort diners to seating, and handle payments for food, beverage, and games. Perform cleaning duties including table setting, dish removal, and linen changes while ensuring compliance with restaurant policies. Coordinate with servers, attend to guest complaints, and report suspicious items to management immediately. Participate in fire drills and carry out on-the-job training for subordinate staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Age of majority or older
- 1 year of restaurant service experience
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to lift or move up to 20lbs
- Ability to work overtime
- Computer literacy including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and e-mail
- Professional appearance and manners
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
