Job Summary
Non-CDL Delivery Driver responsible for safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifying order accuracy, conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and maintaining safety standards. Role includes loading/unloading, operating forklifts, cataloging and documenting deliveries with photographic evidence, communicating with customers and supervisors, and ensuring compliance with DOT and safety protocols. Local travel with occasional long-distance trips within state boundaries; requires heavy lifting, ability to sit for driving periods, and ability to operate vehicles and equipment in varied weather conditions. Must have high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 years old, hold a valid non-CDL license with a clean driving record, and pass drug/background checks along with a DOT medical card. We prioritize safety, customer service, and accurate inventory/documentation while supporting branch operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum Years Of Work Experience: 1-2 years of professional driving experience
- Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs in 3 years, no suspensions in 5 years, max 2 violations/accidents in 18 months)
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required)
- Must pass a drug test, background check, and hold a current DOT medical card (for vehicles 10,001 lbs+)
- DOT Medical Certificate is mandatory for operating trucks registered at 10,001 lbs. or more
- A valid driver's license is required
- Preferred: Forklift certification
- Possession of a DOT Medical Certificate is mandatory for operating trucks 10,001 lbs+
