Job Summary
Assist customers in selecting and purchasing home furnishings to meet sales goals. Maintain a sales quota, advise on quality, style, and value, develop customer experience and sales execution, verify pricing, calculate discounts, and prepare/label merchandise for promotions. Set up displays, stock shelves, and coordinate delivery or pickup times; resolve customer complaints regarding delivery. Conduct telemarketing prospecting calls, maintain CRM records, and handle customer inquiries in person or by phone. Attend sales meetings and maintain a clean, orderly sales area. Assist customers with credit applications and explain store policies; follow Display Standards and SWING/HOME values. Engage customers to drive sales while upholding company standards and delivering excellent service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; six months experience in practical retail sells; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
