Hourly Clinical Mentor Contract Coordinator

Job Summary

Secure CVs and credentials from Clinical Mentors, then store all documentation in the University's secure system. Collaborate with the clinical compliance coordinator to verify licensure, CPR certification, insurance, and background checks before contract start. Coordinate course and site assignments with the Assistant Director, then draft and secure signed independent contractor agreements for each mentor. Communicate contracted dates and hours, issue invoice forms, and collect completed invoices for payment processing. Track contract status, outstanding documents, and payment submissions while reporting to program leadership. Maintain responsive communication with mentors, the Clinical Coordinator, and University offices like Human Resources and Treasury. Perform related administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Two (2) or more years of administrative, contract administration, credentialing, or program support experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recurring, deadline-driven processes with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe/e-signature tools, and web-based systems
  • Ability to handle confidential contractor information with discretion, consistent with University policy

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in higher education, healthcare credentialing, or clinical placement coordination
  • Familiarity with independent contractor (1099) documentation and invoicing workflows
