Job Summary
Take and fill drink orders, garnish and serve beverages, and collect payments while operating the POS. Maintain a clean work area by cleaning up after guests, removing trash, and washing glasses and utensils. Monitor and maintain inventory by tracking wines, beers, and liquors, ordering supplies as needed, and restocking the bar from the storeroom. Ensure a safe environment by checking identification for minimum age compliance, assessing alcohol consumption, and refusing service or contacting authorities when necessary. This role requires a High-School Diploma or G.E.D., 1-2 years of bartending experience, and a valid alcohol certificate. Candidates must be able to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Candidates must be the required age of majority or older
- minimum of 1-2 years of Bartending experience
- You can work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Completed Bartending classes preferred
- You have knowledge of drink recipes
- You have demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- You have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate
