Job Summary
The Guest Service Captain orchestrates the service experience for hotel guests, collaborating with coworkers to meet or exceed service standards. Responsibilities include greeting guests promptly, opening doors, assisting with valet operations, parking and retrieving vehicles, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining knowledge of the facility and local amenities. The role leads a work group, assigns routine tasks, adjusts staffing under manager direction, issues and tracks vehicle claim checks, and safeguards keys and guest information (HIPAA privacy). It also involves coordinating schedules, handling revenue and cash drops, and completing shift documentation. The position emphasizes delivering aggressive hospitality and exceptional experiences consistent with Towne Park’s service philosophy, while reporting to the Account Manager and escalating non-urgent issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Pass criminal background check
- MVR and drug screen
- Wheelchair Safety Training course (Towne Park)
- Six (6) months related experience and/or training
