Job Summary
Guest Service Associate responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting guests with luggage during arrival and departure, greeting guests, providing directions and information about local amenities, and delivering hospitality-focused service. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to read/write English, basic math, and one month of related experience. This part-time role is located in Indianapolis (Omni Severin) and involves shifts that may include AM/PM times, with opportunities to earn tips in addition to base pay. Education requirement is a high school diploma or GED. Towne Park offers a Pay range of $9-$10/hour plus $5-$10/hour in tips; benefits eligibility varies by classification and hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Perform parallel parking
