Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate (Hotel Valet Attendant) at Towne Park is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner, assisting guests with luggage (where applicable) during arrival and departure, and providing exceptional hospitality services in a friendly, attentive manner. The role includes welcoming guests, guiding them with directions and inquiries, delivering messages or amenities, and handling vehicle keys, tickets, and revenue-related tasks while maintaining a professional demeanor and compliance with safety and operational procedures. The position may involve shuttling guests to approved locations and coordinating with the location to deliver a high-quality guest experience in a hospitality setting in Milwaukee. The role requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of parking operations, and the ability to work in varied schedules, including AM/PM shifts, with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Perform parallel parking
