Job Summary
Parks and retrieves guest vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assisting guests with bell services, luggage delivery, and door opening. Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using their last names and the salutation of the day, while explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures. Provides directions, handles taxi and reservation inquiries, and delivers messages or amenities as requested. Issues claim checks only after receiving keys and collects all claim checks prior to issuing vehicle keys. Maintains accurate ticket information including key tags, damage surveys, and folio locations. Performs parallel parking and operates a manual transmission, with experience highly desirable. Full-time or part-time shifts available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work (as applicable)
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Travel of up to 5% may be required
