Job Summary
Guest Service Associate responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt, safe manner and assisting guests with luggage. Provides directions and information about local amenities, delivers messages and guest amenities as requested, and maintains a friendly, professional demeanor. Responsibilities include processing tickets and revenue, handling bell services, and delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in a hotel/guest setting. Requires strong English communication, basic math, and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; a valid driver's license is required. This part-time role involves outdoor work, customer service, and adherence to safety and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to drive/park vehicles safely
