Job Summary
Greet guests and co-workers with smiles and eye contact from arrival to departure, maintaining driveway organization and controlling vehicle order. Assist guests with entering and exiting automobiles, open main entrance doors, and handle keys and valet tickets while recording any vehicle damage. Retrieve and park guest vehicles, report dangerous conditions or accidents to supervisors, and distribute resort information. Maintain cleanliness of the front entrance, ensure safe equipment usage, and uphold guest confidentiality and tribal contract compliance. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 months customer service experience
- 1 year of NQRC valet experience
- Experience in 4 star/4 Diamond hotel
- Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other computer software
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with department head and employees
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Gaming License
- Must have in possession a valid state driver's license while on shift
- Must be able to be insured by the company insurance carrier
- Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Hepatitis A & B vaccinations
