Job Summary
Hotel Technician at Ruby Giulia (Rome) responsible for HVAC/electrical/plumbing maintenance, general and structural repairs, and coordinating external facility providers. You will regularly check technical facilities, supervise safety-related equipment inspections with the Maintenance Manager, coordinate purchasing of materials with the Hotel Manager, and work closely with the housekeeping team. Requires hands-on technical experience in HVAC and/or electrical, several years in a similar role, experience in leading external providers, strong technical skills (painting, electrical, plumbing), confident presentation, and the ability to bring joy to the workplace. Must be willing to work weekends and, if needed, late shifts; fluent Italian and good English communication. Full-time role with Lean Luxury hospitality culture and opportunities for training and growth.
Required Qualifications
- training in HVAC and/or electrical
- several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- experience in leading/coordinating external service providers
- good general technical knowledge and skills (e.g. painting, electrical, plumbing)
- speaking fluent Italian and can communicate well in English
