Hotel Security Guard

Job Summary
Provide safety and security for guests, team members, and hotel property while delivering courteous guest service. Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols, monitor entrances and common areas, secure doors and restricted areas, respond promptly to incidents and disturbances, assist Front Desk with guest requests, document all incidents and maintenance concerns, report safety issues, and support emergency responses and evacuations. Maintain logs and collaborate with hotel management to uphold a safe, welcoming environment. Requires the ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous security, law enforcement, military, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Strong observation and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance
