Job Summary
The Hotel Room Inspector assists the Housekeeping Supervisor and staff by inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards. This role involves maintaining communication about room status, tracking guest assistance requests, completing inspection reports, and notifying staff of cleaning and repair needs. The inspector should possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of hotel industry practices, with a high school diploma and previous housekeeping experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Previous housekeeping experience required
- Previous experience inspecting rooms preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Hotel and casino industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of principles and practices regarding customer service in the casino/hotel industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of standard computer systems/office productivity software
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Requirements
- Must have ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift
