Hotel Preventative Maintenance Crew Member

Responsible for preventative maintenance and housekeeping-related tasks in guest rooms and public spaces at Crowne Plaza. Duties include cleaning furnishings to “like new” standards, shampooing carpets in rooms and hallways, moving and cleaning behind furniture, remaking beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, changing shower curtains, repairing plumbing fixtures and caulking tubs, repairing wallpaper and assisting painters as needed, and repairing/replacing worn woodwork and light fixtures. Must be able to work nights and weekends and follow supervisor direction. Requires strong communication, a sense of urgency, ability to work efficiently, and availability to meet the needs of the business. Education: High School or equivalent preferred; experience with electrical, plumbing, and wallpaper repair is preferred; 0-2 years of hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
