Job Summary
Hotel Operations Supervisor oversees and supports Front Desk and Housekeeping operations, focusing on training, supervising, and scheduling of front desk and housekeeping teams. Provides administrative support to the Hotel Manager, acts as MOD, responds to guest requests and issues in the absence of a manager, and performs hands-on duties as Front Desk Agent and Housekeeper as needed. Responsibilities include interviewing and supervising staff, ensuring policy adherence, processing check-ins/outs, managing reservations and billing, maintaining guest knowledge of local attractions, fostering collaboration across management, ensuring compliance with labor laws, monitoring budgets and payroll, analyzing processes for efficiency, coaching teams to manage occupancy and guest service, identifying service issues and implementing solutions, balancing cost controls with guest satisfaction, maintaining key controls and safety standards, and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Two year college degree or equivalent hospitality experience
- Strong Leader of people
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Familiar with common computer software programs
- Must be willing to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
