Job Summary
Check-in and check-out guests, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue keys while handling guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly. Process payments and transactions, including room charges, cash, debit, or credit, and run daily reports for arrivals, departures, and special requests. Ensure the common area and lobby are clean, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to track room readiness, and maintain front desk supplies and equipment. Answer guest calls, provide property and local attraction information, perform administrative duties, and safeguard guest information. Work overnight shifts with a salary of $13-$16 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in hospitality and front desk roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
