Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of Adina Sydney Darling Harbour, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and compliance with brand and safety standards. Drive commercial performance by delivering revenue, profitability, and Net RevPAR targets through effective budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning. Inspire, coach, and develop leaders and teams, fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture focused on engagement, retention, and succession planning. Build strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, suppliers, and the local community, providing regular communication on business performance and opportunities. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, resolve operational issues and critical incidents, and identify opportunities to enhance productivity, guest satisfaction, and overall business results. Report to the Area Hotel General Manager while balancing strategic leadership with a hands-on approach.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience in hotel leadership roles
- Proven track record leading full-service hotel operations through major refurbishment or reopening projects
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and profitability
- Strong financial management, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Excellent people leadership and talent development skills
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and owner relationships
- Strong understanding of revenue management and market performance metrics
- Ability to lead confidently through change and complex situations
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Current RSA Certificate
- Current Provide First Aid certification (or equivalent)
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
