Job Summary
Oversee daily hotel operations for the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Services, while ensuring compliance with company standards and maximizing departmental profits. Implement quality processes, manage staffing adjustments based on occupancy, and supervise budgeting and forecasting for revenue and expenses. Lead interviews, hiring, training, and performance evaluations for staff, resolving guest complaints and negotiating solutions for service failures. Act as General Manager in the Area General Manager's absence, chair department meetings, and coordinate enforcement of policies to ensure operational excellence. Requires minimum 5 years in full-service upscale hotels and 3 years in New York luxury environments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in full service upscale hotels
- Minimum 3 years of senior Operations leadership experience within a New York luxury hotel
- Knowledge of all hotel operations to include but not limited to: Housekeeping, Front Office, Food and Beverage
Desired Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience within a union hotel environment
