Job Summary
Oversee all operational areas of the 185-room hotel, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Security, while leading departments to meet financial and operational targets. Support the General Manager in strategic direction, ensure monthly financial outlooks are accurate, and assist in preparing the annual Operating, Marketing, and Capital Budgets. Maintain product quality standards, ensure full compliance with operating controls and legislation, and champion the Service Excellence and Sustainability Committees. Participate in daily shift meetings, weekly forecasts, and monthly departmental meetings to drive performance. Work onsite with a schedule reflecting business levels, weekends, and holidays, mentoring department heads and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment. Own the operational aspects of the Accounting & Operation Annual Audit.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role within the hotel industry
- Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance, enhance guest satisfaction, and foster employee engagement
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both with guests and internal stakeholders
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience leading in a union environment
- University/College degree in a related discipline
