Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance throughout the property, including painting, carpet/floor cleaning, and minor adjustments to HVAC systems. Execute repairs and replacements for room furniture, fixtures, and equipment such as television sets and light fixtures. Clean and maintain exterior areas, including the swimming pool, parking lot, and landscape, while adhering to the Preventative Maintenance Program. Resolve work orders reported in a timely manner and report requests for major repairs to the General Manager. Ensure all tasks align with Marriott's standards for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety.
Required Qualifications
- basic working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and/or other general repair skills
- very good organization and time management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
- sound judgment and discretional skills and work with little or no supervision
- ability to consistently work under pressure and simultaneously prioritize multiple projects
- ability to speak, read, write and understand English
