Hotel Maintenance Technician II

Job Summary
Maintain a safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds by performing repairs and preventative maintenance on systems including plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC; perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repairs; implement safety and regulatory programs; keep detailed records; provide training to Maintenance Tech I; assist management with department staffing and contribute to an exceptional guest experience through courteous service; role emphasizes advanced maintenance knowledge, ability to dismantle and replace defective components, water chemistry and pool maintenance, preventative maintenance program execution, and hands-on problem solving in a hospitality environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in facilities or building maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and preventative maintenance
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- English proficiency
- Ability to lift/move heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to participate in on-call or emergency maintenance as needed
