Job Summary
Lead and manage the Maintenance department for the Holiday Inn Seattle Downtown – Lake Union. Responsible for staffing, hiring and termination decisions, supervising direct reports, coaching and evaluating performance, and ensuring adherence to hotel policies and SOPs. Perform hands-on maintenance in areas such as plumbing, electrical, and related system repairs; delegate tasks to team members and coordinate with contractors when outside expertise is needed. Obtain multiple bids, supervise contractors on site through completion, and make expeditious decisions for expensive repairs to minimize guest impact. Drive timely completion of multiple tasks, ensure safety and compliance with brand standards, and provide training and guidance to staff to maintain a safe, well-maintained property.
