Job Summary
Maintain electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and painting work; complete maintenance requests and preventive maintenance program; manage and perform electrical, plumbing, and general repair tasks; assist with repairs and projects; ensure guest satisfaction and safety; coordinate with Chief Engineer, Supervisors, Executive Housekeeper, and Front Office; maintain clean, organized work areas and inventory; open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year(s) experience as a general maintenance engineer
- Fluency in job related English, both verbal and non-verbal
- Working knowledge of electrical, air conditioning, supplies and equipment
- Knowledge of health codes, electrical codes, fire codes, local mechanical codes
- Ability to interpret manufacturer’s literature; be well organized; follow instructions
