Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
Maintain hotel operations by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. Replace air conditioner filters and tend cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests. Assist the overall maintenance team with daily tasks while responding to and resolving guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. Complete projects and assignments thoroughly, professionally, and with care, adhering to StepStone Hospitality policies and procedures. Adjust to high-pressure conditions and assume responsibility for personal growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- comprehensive knowledge of maintenance duties and tasks
- comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors
- ability to accurately report information
- ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone Hospitality and the hotel's policies and procedures
- pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
- hearing, writing, typing
- minimum pulling of 50 pounds
