Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Respond to emergency situations such as power outages, floods, and fire alarms. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency. Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed while maintaining accurate records of all work. Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and hotel policies. Assist the Chief Engineer with other assigned duties. Requires high school diploma, two years of hotel maintenance experience, and ability to work holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Flexibility to work different days to include Holidays
