Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and HVAC systems throughout the hotel while adhering to strict safety rules. Perform actual corrections of hazardous conditions, execute inspections to plan activities, and report findings to the Engineering Department. Participate in the Fire and Emergency Rescue Team, departmental problem-solving teams, and housekeeping/cosmetic duties for supervised areas. Maintain a good physical condition to climb ladders and use hand and power tools safely under minimal supervision. Requires 2+ years of hotel engineering experience, a valid driver's license, and trade school background; full-time overnight shift with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Communicate in English with hotel guest, visitors and staff to their understanding
- Provide legible communication
- Compute mathematical calculations
- Perform basic plumbing and HVAC techniques
- Properly and safely use hand and power tools
- Perform job functions with minimal supervision

- High School graduate or G.E.D. and vocational/technical background
- Valid Vehicle Operators License

- 2+ years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
