Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other fixtures to ensure functionality and safety. Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, facilities, and guest rooms, addressing problems promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct repairs on hotel property such as fixing leaks, replacing broken fixtures, and repairing damaged furniture or equipment. Conduct regular safety inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, identifying potential hazards and taking corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Respond to emergency maintenance requests such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or elevator malfunctions to quickly resolve issues. Work overnight 10:30 pm - 7:00 am as part of the 3rd shift rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience serving as a technician or engineer within a hotel or property management
- Experience with power tools use and safety
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment, furniture and warning labels
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management
- Ability to work some PM shifts
- Work overnight 10:30 pm - 7:00 am
