Job Summary
Assist with operation maintenance and repair of equipment, including changing light bulbs, performing guest room preventative maintenance, and executing trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing. Monitor energy conservation, repair small equipment, and immediately follow up on alarms to determine location and cause before reporting emergency status to the Front Desk. Handle ice machine, refrigerator, laundry, and HVAC maintenance across guest rooms, meeting areas, and pool facilities. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years working with HVAC systems, Air handler units preventative maintenance and guestrooms 4 pipe HVAC systme with fan coils preventative maintenance
- Proficient computer skills; for report writing and Maintenance application entry
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.)
- Finishing expertise in repairing guestrooms, meeting areas, hallways and public space; ceiling repiar, wallpaper, plaster, painting
- May require driving shuttle van when needed (property specific)
