Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and physical property systems, including HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping. Respond timely to service requests from guests, employees, and management for interior fixtures, furnishings, and grounds. Implement ongoing preventive maintenance programs and monitor cleanliness across all areas, including the indoor pool and fitness center. Investigate complaints, recognize safety hazards, and execute emergency procedures to ensure guest and staff safety. Remove snow and salt grounds as needed, arriving early before guest checkout.
Required Qualifications
- knowledgeable in areas such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, dry walling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping
- able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems and equipment
- able to recognize potential safety hazards and security problems in the hotel and act upon each accordingly
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds
