Job Summary
Ensure the best possible experience for each guest within Town Pump operating guidelines by preparing food and drinks, stocking coolers, washing glassware, clearing tables, and taking inventory. Maintain knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, chafing dishes, coffee makers, dishwashers, and refrigeration while storing and handling food items according to established guidelines. Clean and maintain all equipment and service areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing, and report known issues with services, equipment, and property. Follow grooming and appearance guidelines, complete required training, and practice safe working conditions under OSHA guidelines. May be required to perform duties in other departments such as cleaning the lobby or assisting at the front desk.
Required Qualifications
- Follow Town Pump's grooming and appearance guidelines, and wear uniform and nametag at all times while on shift.
- Maintain knowledge of food preparation and service using commercial kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, chafing dishes, coffee makers, dishwashers, and refrigeration.
- Store and handle food items according to established guidelines.
- Maintain and clean all equipment used to serve food as needed and beverages.
- Ensure all areas that food and beverages are prepared, or served, in [are clean].
- Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
- Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
- Comply with Town Pump expectations for the confidentiality of guest and company information.
