Job Summary
Conduct daily rounds through halls to ensure public areas are clean, tidy, and free of out-of-order items. Coordinate with housekeeping on heavy lifting, empty soiled linen carts, flip mattresses, and move furniture. Provide professional service to guests by answering questions, running supplies to rooms, and driving the van for transport. Polish metalwork and furniture while reporting missing articles, signs of damage, or repair needs. Maintain a professional appearance and assist coworkers with assigned duties. Requires valid driver's license, six months housekeeping experience, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license, with clean record (Required for Drivers only)
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Six months experience in Housekeeping
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Communicates well with guests
- Must be willing to 'pitch-in' and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time
- Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor
