Job Summary
Oversee and supervise housekeeping staff, inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobbies to ensure cleanliness standards are met; train or retrain staff on proper procedures; supervise housekeeping in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper; perform rooms/public area cleaning tasks as assigned; weekend/holiday shifts as required; benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more; salary $19.25/hour with weekly pay; located at TownePlace Suites Latham, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training
- One year previous housekeeping experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
