Job Summary
Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators, and guest rooms while organizing work schedules from room status lists and arrivals/departures. Distribute linen, towels, and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand, restock amenities like glasses and soaps, replace dirty linens, inspect mattresses, and store laundry per policy. Requires physical stamina to lift loads up to 30lbs, knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, and ability to reach, kneel, and bend. Schedule includes weekends and nights due to 24/7 hotel operations. Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
