Job Summary
Greets guests with a smile, cleans, organizes, and restocks hotel guest rooms with high-quality standards. Ensures bathrooms are sanitary by disinfecting fixtures and refilling amenities, while removing garbage and replacing liners. Changes linens daily, dusts, and vacuums furniture, and inspects smoke detectors and remote batteries. Reports broken or nonfunctional items to maintenance immediately and adheres to casino safety policies. Requires a pleasant attitude, strong work ethic, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. Must obtain and maintain a tribal work permit and pass a drug test.
Required Qualifications
- Some High school
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Must be able to push or lift approximately 50 lbs of furniture, equipment, trash and linens
- Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Gaming work permit
- Must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed
- Must be able to flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Previous experience cleaning
