Job Summary
Conduct systematic inspections of guest rooms, corridors, suites, and public spaces using standardized checklists to verify housekeeping quality, maintenance completion, and amenity presentation. Identify and document deviations from brand standards by recording findings digitally, capturing supporting photographs, and generating accurate reports for management and relevant departments. Partner with Housekeeping supervisors, Maintenance Staff, and Front Desk teams to resolve inspection-related issues and ensure safety devices remain functional. Perform surprise guest room inspections upon request to assess guest experience consistency. Maintain accurate inspection logs, submit reports promptly, and recommend process improvements to revise standard operating practices. This role requires availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old
- Must have 1-year combined experience of hotel/housekeeping experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- General understanding of computer programs, with proficiency in all windows applications required
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means
- Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing
- Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission
- Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events
- Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to XXX pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to XXX pounds with assistance as needed
