Job Summary
Hands-on General Manager to lead a lean, select-service hotel in the Hartford, CT market. Lead all aspects of hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, and guest experience; drive financial performance through labor management, cost control, and revenue focus; maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction; monitor online reputation; recruit, train, and develop a small, high-performing team; ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and company policies; partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hotel leadership experience
- Background in select-service or limited-service hotels preferred
- Strong operational and financial acumen (labor, scheduling, cost control)
- Hands-on leadership style with a visible presence on property
- Ability to lead in a lean environment and wear multiple hats
- Experience with major hotel brand systems a plus
