Job Summary
General Manager responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Daxton Hotel, a luxury boutique property in Birmingham, MI. Oversees Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, and Engineering to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain luxury standards, and drive financial performance. Recruits, trains, and mentors department heads and staff; fosters a service-driven culture; ensures property cleanliness, aesthetics, and safety. Develops annual budgets and forecasts, drives revenue through pricing, marketing, and partnerships while controlling costs. Builds relationships with VIP guests and the local business community; represents the hotel at events. Requires flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays; strong leadership, strategic thinking, and guest-centric mindset are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 7-10+ years of progressive hotel management experience, including leadership at a luxury or boutique property
- Strong financial acumen and operational expertise
- Proven track record of driving guest satisfaction and revenue growth
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of luxury service standards and trends
