Job Summary
Assist with all aspects of guest services, including assigning rooms, registering guests, updating guest history, confirming payments, and checking guests in. Provide information on-site facilities and upcoming events, store luggage, and close billing while issuing receipts. Validate Player Club eligibility for new gaming patrons and perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, copying, and sorting mail. Maintain a positive impression of the establishment for guests throughout their stay and departures.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years' related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- competent in oral and written communication and reading comprehension using the English language
- bi-lingual ability in Spanish
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks of varying priority and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
- Proficient in the Microsoft Operating System, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as speak and hear
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must honor all applicable laws regarding discrimination prohibitions
- Must follow policies and procedures of the organization
- Must follow instructions, respond to management direction
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must arrive at work and appointments consistently and on time
- Must be able to ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent
- Must be dressed in the appropriate uniform
- Hair must be presented in a professional manner and free of any unpleasant odors
- Must be 18 years of age or older
