Job Summary
Assistant Front Office Manager (Temporary) leads daily hotel operations on-site, covering front desk, food and beverage, housekeeping, and administration; focuses on guest and associate satisfaction, expense control, and adherence to service standards; responsible for training, scheduling, month-end reporting, budgeting variances, and ensuring brand standards; acts as Manager on Duty, engages in direct selling of hotel rooms, coordinates inventory and purchasing, and oversees HR processes (recruiting, onboarding, performance management, offboarding) for three departments; requires Bachelor’s preferred degree, supervisory experience, ServSafe certification, and ability to travel; strong communication, budgeting, and operational coordination skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Two years of previous supervisory experience preferred
- ServSafe certification required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel including some overnight travel is required
- English fluency required
