Job Summary
Check hotel guests in and out, collect payments from guests and third-party companies, and answer inquiries via phone, email, or in person. Balance and close out all third-party reservations from Expedia, Agoda, Booking, and Groupon. Properly handle cash, check luggage, and arrange taxi cabs for guests. Take notes on guest feedback or complaints during your shift and communicate clearly regarding reservations, payments, and hotel policies. Demonstrate basic to intermediate computer skills and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requires at least one year of front desk experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Skytouch.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one year related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Google Chrome
- Knowledge of Microsoft Edge
- Knowledge of Skytouch
- Knowledge of Shift4

- At least 1 year in the customer service industry
- At least 1 year experience with cash handling
- At least 1 year at a front desk or night auditor position
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
