Hotel Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
Warmly greet and register guests, process phone calls, and handle special requests in accordance with hotel policies. Assist with campus and amenity inquiries, serve as a concierge, and manage reservations via fax or email. Accurately post inter-company charges, issue room keys, and generate daily operational reports. Address guest concerns by escalating to the Administrative Assistant or Business Office Manager when needed. Complete shift duties, including secure cash deposits, while maintaining proper security procedures and supporting team culture. Full-time role with rotating shifts from 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision and exhibit sound judgement
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-2 years of direct face to face customer engagement experience
- Must be able to lift up to and occasionally move up to 50 pounds
- Maintain consistent, regular, and reliable on-site attendance
- Texas is an employment-at-will state

- Hotel experience preferred
- Boutique hotel experience a plus
