Job Summary
Maintain the building's physical, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while ensuring security, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance of all engineering tools and safety features. Complete delegated work orders promptly, keeping storerooms orderly and treating equipment with proper care. Address unsafe conditions immediately and provide open communication regarding issues or concerns. Operate hand tools safely, perform patching, caulking, and painting, and read utility meters and gauges. May work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires high school graduation, basic math skills, and fluency in English; CPO certification and bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must have knowledge and the ability to operate tools, hand tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to read temperature gauges, utility meters, etc
- Must possess basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, and understanding units of measurement
- Ability to read and speak English fluently
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- Basic computer skills such as typing and email correspondence
Desired Qualifications
- CPO certification, preferred
- Three-six months customer service experience, preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred
