Job Summary
Hotel Cook position at Kana Hotel Group responsible for preparing and directing the preparation of foods, ensuring proper portioning, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, learning and executing menus/recipes, coordinating with meal serving hours, and collaborating with servers to ensure guest satisfaction. Requires ability to set up and maintain steam tables, ensure proper serving and presentation, store and label food, monitor equipment, and perform daily production planning and temperature checks. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; prior experience in restaurant or hotel kitchens and culinary training are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience cooking at restaurant or full service hotel
- Culinary school 2-4 year degree preferred
