Job Summary
Oversee hotel cleanliness operations as a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor. Inspect guest rooms and public areas after housekeeping to ensure quality standards, run room reports, verify room status, identify and resolve discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and communicate changes in room assignments. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry; document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk; prepare and communicate status updates to the next shift. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Enforce safety and security policies, complete required paperwork, and uphold company standards for uniforms, appearance, confidentiality, and guest service. Use computers/POS systems to enter and locate information; read and verify information across formats. Maintain positive working relationships, listen and respond to employee concerns, and ensure adherence to quality expectations. Demonstrate physical ability to move items up to 55 pounds, push/pull housekeeping carts, and stand for extended periods. Qualifications include a High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related and supervisory experience.
