Job Summary
Versatile and well-organized Sales & Catering Manager with an outward direct-sales focus to meet or exceed established catering sales targets. You'll be the go-to person for creating exceptional catering experiences, meeting clients, conducting property tours, and tailoring catering solutions to client needs. Responsibilities include negotiating prices, planning menus, coordinating with chefs, sales staff, and equipment providers; overseeing venue, food, and service preparations while adhering to food and health regulations; staying ahead of industry trends and promoting our catering services; showcasing hotel facilities through property tours and site inspections; leading pre- and post-event meetings to ensure successful events; and generating new catering leads for social events, weddings, receptions, and holidays. Requirements include 3-5 years of catering management experience (or a mix of experience and education), proficiency with electronic catering sales systems like Delphi FDC and Salesforce, and the ability to deliver services on budget and on time; the role requires advanced communication, organization, and the willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays.
