Job Summary
Transport guest luggage to and from rooms, escort guests while informing them of hotel services, and attend to immediate needs upon arrival. Maintain constant contact with the hotel contact person to track passenger pickups and drop-offs, responding to questions politely and handling complaints as needed. Inspect shuttles for issues and ensure wheelchair accessibility. This full-time role within the Guest Services Department requires a valid CDL with P or F endorsement, a good driving record, and DOT certification. Flexible hours include evenings, holidays, and overtime. Successful completion of a 60-day introductory period qualifies you for benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL driver's license with Passenger Endorsement
- Valid non-CDL with F Endorsement
- DOT certification
- Good driving record
- Ability to stoop and reach
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs
- Good clear speaking voice
- 20/20 or near 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to ascend and descend shuttle without ramp
- Ability to hold and lock down wheelchair
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
- Must be able to use a hand-held radio
- Must be able to pass a physical and drug test according to DOT
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to accept tips in addition to the hourly rate
- Must be available for weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime
- Must be able to deal with any complaints
- Must have a thorough knowledge of all hotel services and amenities
- Excellent guest service skills
